Water-Flow Alarm-Bayside at Bethany Lakes
Saturday, January 27, 2018

On Saturday evening, 27 January 2018, at 1744 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 38000 block of Old Mill Way in the Bayside at Bethany Lakes subdivision for an audible alarm sounding.

MVFC committed 4 pieces of fire apparatus, not including the Fire-Police. The first arriving pumper learned it was a water-flow alarm. There was a malfunction in the system that caused the system to sound. No damages occurred to any of the units in that building.

This fire event was commanded by Nick McLoughlin until the arrival of Chief Richie Walls.

Captain Jack Melson was tasked with diverting the pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the surrounding area.
